On my drive in to work one the days this past week, one of the newscasters told a story about scientific research done on the 5-second rule, proving it isn’t total bunk. The summary stated that dry toast was the least likely to get germs on it when dropped on the floor. Yes, science has really outdone itself this time!
I brought this up because I have been getting asked about what I plan on doing to get my stomach ready – since it looks like all the riders got sick last year. Best I have got right now is to start drinking from the hose, and perhaps lick a doorknob or two. I have been told Dukoral works well, and I will likely carry antacid. So I am asking for ideas… what do you suggest? What has worked for you in the past?
